Founded in Kelowna, BC by condo owners who lived the problem

StrataStation was built by Kelowna condo owners and strata council members who lived the daily frustrations of outdated building management firsthand. We brought in seasoned engineers and operators from Meta, Amazon, and Ford to give Canadian strata councils the same caliber of technology that powers the world's largest enterprises — without the enterprise complexity.

Our Mission

We started StrataStation because we lived the daily frustrations of running a building on email threads, paper notices, and disconnected spreadsheets. Our mission is to give every strata council in Canada a single, modern platform for maintenance, communications, parking, documents, and bookings, so they can spend less time on admin and more time building community.

John Kump

Founder & CEO

Born and raised in Kelowna, BC, John is a multi-condo owner who experienced the frustrations of outdated strata management firsthand. That struggle led him to found StrataStation with a mission to bring modern, world-class technology to Canadian strata councils. He brings years of Silicon Valley engineering experience from Meta and Amazon to the problem.

Alex Kump

Founder & Primary Investor

After more than 15 years owning and managing rental properties in Canada and the US, Alex joined his local strata council last year. Dealing firsthand with everyday issues like parking disputes, property manager follow-through, and forgotten action items led him to start StrataStation with his son John and a small team. They’re building straightforward tools to make strata life simpler for councils, owners, landlords, and residents.
